Makeweekend is hosting a Music Make-a-thon to solve some of the problems of the local music scene. Over one weekend, participants will work together to ideate and create exciting solutions that can help the local music scene not only survive but thrive.

Makeweekend is reaching out to musicians, creative problem solvers, and technology makers who want to be a part of improving their local music scene.
1. How might we help local musicians better market themselves?
2. How might we help people discover local independent music they like?
3. How might we create a win-win approaches for venues and bands?
Mentors: We will be collaborating with industry mentors from various backgrounds ranging from music to production, multimedia design, and marketing to help guide projects.
Judges: Our judging panel will include musicians and industry players from Malaysia’s music industry.
Prizes: Participants stand a chance to win a grant to support winning ideas thanks to our partners at 1M4U, as well as other great prizes!
