Makeweekend Impact is a two-day workshop that gathered great minds at one place to help them create and refine social projects. Nearly 100 participants from various sectors came to build solutions to press social challenges that could impact the lives of 1 million Malaysians.
Participants were given the chance to voice out their vision and share with others. They created projects ranging from youth, poor people, women, disabled and others.
“It was interesting to listen to others’ aspirations. I also like how it got me thinking about my future.” said one of the participants who attended the two-day workshop.
Not only Makeweekend Impact encouraged people to become problem solvers of their own social problems within the community, it also gathered people from various background to work together and exchange perspectives to enable greater ideas. The event was hosted at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. Key partners include MaGIC, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus and Project Renaissance by Mindvalley.
